Using Chat

Chat is good for one-off tasks like brainstorming ideas or writing a single blog post, while workflows automate entire processes by having AI complete a sequence of small tasks. Workflows allow you to accomplish tasks like research, outlining, and content creation at scale.

Chat is also very useful for quickly working to improve a prompt, or get assistance improving your prompt. You interact with Chat using best practices for prompting. More content on this is available in the Prompt Library and the invite only Prompt Wizardry course. Reach out to community@copy.ai for a course invite.

Key takeaways:

  • Chat is for one-off tasks like brainstorming or writing one post. Workflows automate entire processes.

  • Chat uses GPT-4 models. Workflows will also use Anthropic models.

  • With workflows, you enter a keyword and AI will complete a sequence of tasks like research, outlining, and drafting.

  • Workflows allow you to scale content creation and other marketing processes.

  • Outputs from workflows can be integrated into other tools to align teams.

Can you use specialized OpenAI GPT models like SeanGPT (Copywriting coach and consultant) to write on chat and/or workflows? I find SeanGPT’s output way better than normal ChatGPT4 outputs.
